Black Mountain Golf Course
The Black Mountain offers an 18 hole, 7345 yard ( from the black tees ), par 72 course, which was opened in 2007. Set in a valley next to the mountains from where it takes its name, the course features natural creeks that run throughout and the placement of rocks as design features on some holes, with the mountains offering a nice scenic backdrop.
The course, designed by Australian Phil Ryan offers enjoyable golf for the average player and a test for the better player.
The fairways are generous for the average range hitter, but become much narrower for the longer hitter. The greens tend to be on the large side, many of which have severe slopes, as well as being well protected by beautifully sculptured bunkers.
Green fees are 3,000 Baht ( high season )
Caddie fee 250 Baht
Golf cart 600 Baht
Clubs can be rented for 1,000 Baht.
There is also a driving range, with shaded mats or un-shaded grass to hit off. A tray of balls ( 40 ) costs 50 or 100 Baht, depending on the quality.
Tee times can be booked by phoning the pro shop at +66 (0) 32 61 86 66.
